Parallel Port Data Acquisition System (YTDAS) consists of a PC based server maintaining a database of all data of the system. The proposed system
will efficiently acquire data from individual device and arrange the same in the database. The data transmission from individual machines and server will be achieved through RS 485 communication. The server will maintain a database and generate reports according to the user’s requirement. The
user with proper authentication will be able to access the server. Parallel Port Data Acquisition System gives a better option to replace old
parallel port printers. It eases the operation of overall system. It reduces the cost of operation.
